This is a Rare, Iconic 1880's - 90's San Antonio Texas City Police "Blanket" Badge. #169 It is so-called the "Blanket Badge", because it is so large, it is the "size of a blanket".

Circa 1890's - 1900's.

Approximately 2-3/4"x2-3/4".

Nickel plated nickel.

Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.
