ARTIFACT: This is a rare 1890s Georgetown, Massachusetts Police #2 badge in the radiator style.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: About 2-1/2" in width by 2-3/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass with black painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical one-piece safety-style pin with a "C" catch.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine&emdash;Excellent): Minor wear to the painted letters; very minor wear to the surface of the badge; a couple very minor dents to back-side edges of the badge.
