ARTIFACT: This is a rare, Early WWII Italian Air Force Downed Pilot next of kin memorial lapel pin by Pagani, Milano. The pin shows an eagle perched atop an airplane propeller. This pin was used to try and console the grieving families of downed pilots during WWII.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" x 5/8

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled and gold filled brass

ATTACHMENT: Button boot

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): There is light to moderate wear, the brass is starting to come through the gold.
