Rare early 1930's Chinese Army Military Academy Cadet Hat,.

VINTAGE:

Circa early 1930's

SIZE:

Approximately: Size 7-1/4 Total 22-1/2" in circumference

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cotton twill, leather & cardboard (visor), vinylized cotton (sweatband), silk, gilt & enameled brass (hat badge), painted tin (plum blossom buttons).

ATTACHMENT:

To be worn on head

MARKINGS:

上海製造 MADE IN SHANGHAI (by Chinese characters on underside of the visor)

陸軍総司令羅列贈 PRESENTED BY THE COMMANDER OF THE Army (by Chinese characters on the reverse of the badge)
