Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a rare circa 1933-1934 National Recovery Administration (NRA) store participant banner. After almost eighty years, this short-lived but nation-wide recovery plan of Roosevelt's New Deal is still memorable for its boost to the US economy and the bold graphics that went along with it. But very few examples of these bold graphics exist any larger than a celluloid button, making this large, but extremely displayable sized banner even more exceptional. This banner is shrink-wrapped to a foam board (not as shown in photos).
