This is a 1941 bootblack license badge from Worcester, Massachusetts. The badge is oval and hangs from a safety pin. This particular badge was numbered 7826 and originally belonged to Joseph Gentile.
VINTAGE:Circa 1941.
SIZE:Approximately 5-5/8" in height (including pin) and 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with a celluloid and paper insert. There is a back plate which is removable and clips under tabs attached to the front of the badge..
ATTACHMENT:Safety pin with loop attachment.
