ARTIFACT: Rare circa 1934 – 1938 Austrian Air Union (Aero Club) member lapel badge. The badge is in the shape of a two-headed dragon with outstretched wings. There is a red and white enameled shield on its chest and clutched in its talons is a white enameled disc with the letters: "LV" in the center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1934 – 1938

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" x 1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel

ATTACHMENT: Single post with screwback

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJX16 LAGEX3/16

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The hat badge shows minor to moderate wear, nearly all the enamel details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
