ARTIFACT: This is a Rare circa 1915 Pre-RFC Acceptance Triplex Safety Glass Aero Mask Pilot Goggles. As worn by Royal /flying Corps Aviators in Early WWI.

VINTAGE: Early WWI, Circa 1915.

SIZE: Approximately 4-3/8" in height x 8-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather, fur, elasticized cotton, Glass, steel.

ATTACHMENT: Strap, buckles.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine): The Leather is remarkably supple and strong. The Fur is in excellent condition and Glass is in good condition, and elasticized cotton still has a little bit flexibility. There is some separation on both side and a small hole in the silk around the goggle lenses.
