ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1910's Winston-Salem, North Carolina Plain Clothes (Vice Squad, UNDERCOVER) Police badge #1. 

This is a badge by C. D. Reese, 57 Warren Street, NY. This is a nice nickel badge that has a good look to it.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910's.

SIZE: Size: 2-1/2" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with tongue type C catch.

MARKINGS: Obverse: WINSTON-SALEM PLAIN CLOTHES POLICE. 1. 


Reverse: C. D. REESE 57 WARREN STREET, NY.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Police Badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBACX17 LDGEX6/17 SDAAX05/17/21

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-Excellent): This badge has some great patina on the reverse. The "1" is slightly crooked, but it does not detract from the great look that this badge has.
