This is a rare ca. 1900 Tisbury, MA (Martha's Vineyard) Fireman's badge.
VINTAGE:Circa 1900.
SIZE:About 1-1/2" in width by 1-3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated copper with black painted detail.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with a tongue-style "C" catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. SAHFX2/15
CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): Minor wear and tarnishing; much of the black painted detailing is worn away.
