Description
Rare & Beautiful 1910's Oklahoma City Oklahoma Police Badge. A great example of this rarely-offered badge, with just enough wear to have that "been-there" look. Considered the 5th Department issue, and dating to the early period of statehood, although Oklahoma was bustling in size by the early 20th century, to say that this new state was still part of the Wild West when this badge was worn would be an understatement. A big, beautiful badge sure to "pop" in your Old West Lawman Badge collection. The badge is a lion-top sunburst, the center shows the number "315" and surrounding it reads: "OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE".
