Rare 1950's - 1960's Jicarilla Apache Tribe Conservation Officer Badge by L.A. Stamp and Stationery Co. The Jicarilla Apache tribe is currently located in New Mexico. The Conservation Officer is tasked with patrolling the Reservation to ensure the protection of all natural resources and protect the general welfare of the tribal membership. This badge is an example from retired Commander of the Los Angeles Police Department, Keith Bushey. The badge features a round center that reads: "JICARILLA APACHE TRIBE CONSERVATION OFFICER" and the base of the badge is numbered '5'. The reverse features a nice maker's mark: "LA STAMP STATY CO" and the number '445' is etched into the reverse. The envelope reads: "JICARILLA APACHE TRIBE KEITH BUSHEY LAPD 3-26-68".

CONDITION:6+ (Fine&emdash;Very Fine): The front of the badge shows moderate to heavy wear and the pin and catch are missing (clipped off) from reverse, envelope shows moderate to heavy storage and age wear. Some of the enamel and plated details remain intact.
