ARTIFACT:
This is a rare 1940s National Airlines stewardess wing. The center of the wing is nicely enameled and shows a white swallowtail flag labeled NAL against a deep red background. The picture above shows an example of the wing being worn, but is not included in the sale.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1940s.
SIZE:
Approximately 3-1/2" wing.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Silver-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:
Two single screw posts with disc backing (one disc is missing, both posts are intact).
MARKINGS:
None.

CONDITION:
7- (Very Fine-): The wing shows some crazing on enamel, light oxidation and is missing one disc backing.
