ARTIFACT:
This is a rare 1940's-50's Marin Co. CAL Sheriff's Department Special Investigator Badge with the original leather holder. Made by Irvine & Jachens, this badge once belonged to Colonel George Hunter White, a notorious long time Federal Narcotics Agent and CIA Operative. White was involved rather heavily in the MKULTRA operation in Marin County during the 50's and 60's. During his time at MKULTRA, White and his team would use drugs to observe the effects on unsuspecting people who were lured to their location by various means. This badge was very likely used during his time in the MKULTRA operation.
