This is a very rare 1912 Gordon Bennett Race subscription badge for the Chicago Air Meet. The Gordon Bennett is the oldest and most prestigious aeronautic race in the world, which began in 1906 in France. The badge shows a Gordon Bennett medal with an aircraft above.

Circa 1912.

Approximately 2-5/8" height and 1" width.

Plated brass and silk ribbon.

Horizontal safety-style pin and brad to attach ribbon.
