ARTIFACT: Rare 1910 New York Chauffer Badge in exceptional condition. The round blue-lacquered nickel badge reads: "LICENSED CHAUFFEUR NEW YORK" and the center reads: "No. 16517". This is the rarest of the three undated New York badges, only in use for one year.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910

SIZE: Approximately 2" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped nickel, blue lacquer

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with 'C' catch

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a collection of chauffeur badges which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAEX15 LEGEX6/15

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor wear to moderate use, nearly all the lacquered details remain intact, overall exceptional condition.
