ARTIFACT: Rare 1890's Lash's Bitters "Puzzle Card" advertisement showing a Ruffian turning into a dandy. The front shows a bald and bearded, frowny man and as you open the first flap, he is wearing a tophat and monocle. When you fold the bottom flap down a clean shaven, smiling chap is revealed and it reads: "TRY LASH'S BITTERS" along the bottom. The reverse reads: "LASH'S KIDNEY AND LIVER BITTERS", "The Most Effective Remedy In Use For: Headache, Backache, Rheumatism, Neuralgia, Dyspepsia, Constipation, Malaria, and all affection of the Kidneys and Liver.", "SOLD EVERYWHERE".

VINTAGE: Circa 1890's.

SIZE: Approximately 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" (open); 2-3/4" x 1-1/2" (closed).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Lithograph, cardstock.
