Rare 1870s Haverhill, Massachusetts Police Badge with Great "T" Pin

This is a rare circa 1870s police badge from Haverhill, Massachusetts. The badge has a great "T" pin, and is shield-shaped with a slight "whale's tail" shape along the top edge. The badge has an engraved "h" at its center done in the Olde English style, and the two words (HAVERHILL POLICE) are in different fonts.

Circa 1870s.

Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

Nickel-plated nickel, nickeled brass findings.

Vertical T-style pin with C catch.
