ARTIFACT:

This is a private purchase early World War II French pilot badge. The badge is a wreathed wing with a tree-dimensional five-pointed star at the top.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1930's, the early World War II period for Central Europe.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" in height by 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver and gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two metal tabs holes, horizontal safety pin.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a French militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX08 LBGEX12/11 SBGEX09/20
CONDITION:8 (Excellent): The badge has some light wear and tarnish.
