This is a Panama Canal construction tool check fob in a rare diamond design. The fob reads ISTHMIAN –CANAL- COMMISSION 85345.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910s.
SIZE:2-5/16" height and 1-1/2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Punched hole.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Fob shows light wear and tarnish and the painted letters are still highly legible.
