This is a pair of distinctive insignia in sterling silver by Balfour for the United States Army Services of Supply. The DIs have a scarlet border and each show the head and wing of a white eagle in profile against a field of blue.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1" diameter (each).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch-back catches (each).
MARKINGS:BALFOUR STERLING (on each).
