ARTIFACT:
This is a pair of late 1930s – World War II United States Army Air Forces officer collar insignia by Meyer. The insignia are winged propellers with slightly scooped-out blades.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1930s – World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 3/4" in height and 1-1/8" in width (each).
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gold- and nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:
Two posts with clutch-back catches (on each).
MARKINGS:
MEYER maker's mark (on each).
ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:
7+ (Very Fine+): The insignia show areas of light to medium wear and have a handsome tarnish; light oxidation on backings.
