Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an old Pennsylvania Board of Fish Commissioners special fish warden badge. The badge is round and reads SPECIAL FISH WARDEN BOARD OF FISH COMMISSIONERS. The badge shows the State of Pennsylvania flag at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

1-1/2" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Swiveling tab for inserting in a slot. There appears to have been a period repair made below the present attachment site.

MARKINGS:

PENNA. (there is also an obscured serial number).

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): Badge shows light to medium wear except for in center where some of the finish is gone.
