Old Carved Cedar Pacific Northwest Coast Indian Eagle Totem <p> NO LONGER AVAILABLE

This is an old carved Northwest Coast Indian eagle totem. The totem is in smooth, lightweight cedar wood with a reddish hue. A traditional symbol, usually a type of animal, the totem was used to representing a tribe or clan. Although largely associated with indigenous peoples of the American Northwest, totems were used in several different areas of the world. The totem is in excellent condition.

Circa 1950s.

Approximately 5-5/8" in height and 1-13/16" in width and 2-1/2" in depth (from back of head to beak tip).
