This is an old brass sign from the National Detective System. The sign is shield-shaped and warned the reader that the property to which the sign is affixed was protected by the National Detective System.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910s-1920s.
SIZE:2-5/16" height and 2-1/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Five holes.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a detective agency collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TVAJL94 LAAEX7/10
CONDITION:6 (Fine+): Sign has moderate wear and tarnish and there is a crack near the bottom.
