ARTIFACT: This is a November 15, 1923 inflation medal entitled "The Suffering of the German People" (Des Deutschen Volkes Leidensweg). The front shows a lean and despairing family and the reverse lists the inflated prices for some basic everyday products: bread, meat and beer.

VINTAGE: Circa 1923.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: MM on front.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Nazi Germany militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX13 LDEX9/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The medal has some areas of medium wear and tarnish.
