Description
This is a nicely used United States Army Air Forces T-30 throat microphone from World War II. The T-30 was the prevalent tank microphone for the United States Army Air Forces during the war. The round pick-ups that sat on either side of the wearer's Adam's apple filtered out background noise, making it ideal for tanks. The microphone was made by several companies, and the S suffix on the model number denotes that it is a Universal Microphone Company product.
