ARTIFACT:
This is a nice World War II US Navy Officer's full-sized hat badge manufactured by Vanguard in sterling and 1/10 14K gold fill. There are three different marks on the reverse of this badge. "Sterling" can be found on the back of the eagle's left wing. "1/10 14K G.F." is found on the handle of the anchor on the right side, while "Vanguard-N.Y." is on the handle of the anchor on the left.

Appr: 2-1/4" x 2-3/8".
