ARTIFACT: This is a nice World War II United States Army Air Forces senior pilot wing in sterling silver made by Josten. The wing has a beautiful patination and an unusual placement for the maker's mark, which is partially concealed when the clutch-back is on. The wing has a star above its slightly convex shield.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" height and 3" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, brass catches.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-back catches.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows some light to medium wear with a beautiful patination.
