Nice WWII United States Army Airborne Artillery jacket patch from training at Fort Benning in Georgia. The center of the patch shows an open parachute and strings and surrounding it reads: UNITED STATES PARATROOPERS in white embroidered detail.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embroidered wool felt, cotton/silk thread, cotton gauze backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX16 LADEX11/16 SADEX10/11/22
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The jacket patch shows very light storage wear and no soiling, overall excellent condition.
