ARTIFACT: This is a nice World War II period United States Army Air Forces flight engineer wing by Meyer. It is in a two-piece construction made of sterling silver. This wing is lovely, with bits of original lacquering still on the obverse and a nice dark patina on the reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 3" in width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK with raised Meyer shield maker mark STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII United States Army Air Forces senior pilot wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-JST-VCJJX-2014 LFEJX1/14 SEEJX3/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing has some spots of light wear and tarnish; it has bits of original lacquering still on the obverse and a nice dark patina on the reverse.
