This is a nice bullion tapestry made in India. The tapestry is a beautiful peacock blue with silver bullion embroidery showing the Taj Mahal superimposed upon a map of India with several cities labeled.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:16-1/2" height and 17-1/2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk embroidered in silver bullion threads and pink cotton/silk threads, with silver tinsel fringe and muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
