ARTIFACT: Nice vintage 1900 Bay-State Bicycles advertising celluloid lapel stud by Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, New Jersey. The center of the stud reads: "RIDE BAY-STATE BICYCLES" and the edges feature nice embellished detail.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, steel

ATTACHMENT: Lapel stud.

MARKINGS: "WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. PAT. APP'D FOR NEWARK, N. J."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a bicycle collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBV99 LFJX11/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The lapel stud shows moderate to heavy age/storage wear, fading, the celluloid is in very fine condition, much of the details remain intact.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
