Nice USMC M1914 EM Undress Cap EG&A Converted from Dress EGA for WWI Wear

ARTIFACT:

This is a nice Model 1914 United States Marine Corps enlisted man undress cap EGA. This eagle, globe and anchor was converted from a dress cap badge. It is in blackened brass with a nice coppery patina.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1914.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Blackened brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with slightly domed disc backing, washer, stabilization post.

MARKINGS:

None.
