ARTIFACT:

This is a nice World War II United States Navy Lieutenant Commander sweetheart pin in sterling silver. The pin is an eagle chained to a rank stripe.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Pins: approximately 3/4" by 3/4" and 1/4" by 1/2"; chain 1-1/2" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Two vertical pins with drop-in locking catches; chain.

MARKINGS:

None.
