This is a nice 925 marked World War II Royal Air Force sweetheart pin in sterling silver. The pin is an eagle bearing "RAF" and a royal crown at top.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1" height and 2-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver (92.5%).
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING 925 R and a maker's mark.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a Great Britain wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCEX98 LHEX6/10 SHEX1/11
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Wing has light wear and is handsomely tarnished.
