This is a nice salty World War II Luftwaffe (Air Force) enlisted man M-43 field cap. It has two insignia at the front embroidered upon wool.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:European size 57 (approximate size 7 1/8).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool, silk, cotton/silk embroidered insignia, resin buttons.
ATTACHMENT:Resin buttons.
MARKINGS:1944 0/0501/0015 57 stamped in lining.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a Nazi Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VABEX12 LCIEX6/12 SCBEX3/13
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The cap shows a few small spots of wear with some areas of discoloration and small tears in the lining.
