ARTIFACT: This is a Nice Old "Salty" 1930's - 1940's Kern County California Deputy Sheriff Badge #157. 

VINTAGE: 1930s - 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 2-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with hard-fired blue enamel and 90 to 95% of the gold plating on front has been polished or worn off.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBCBV21 LFGEX02/07/22

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows 90 to 95% of the gold plating on front has been polished or worn off over the years. Does not detract and gives the badge a "been there" look.
