This is a Nice Old "Salty" 1930's - 1940's Kern County California Deputy Sheriff Badge #157. 

1930s - 1940s.

Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 2-5/16" in width.

Gold-plated brass with hard-fired blue enamel and 90 to 95% of the gold plating on front has been polished or worn off.

Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.
