Description
This is a circa 1930s or 1940s Nashua, New Hampshire Inspector rank police badge. The badge was possibly made by Blackinton and is in 10 karat gold fill. It has a nicely enameled border encircling the Seal of the State of New Hampshire at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/16" in height and 2-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:10 karat gold filled with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch (period resoldering and repair at hinge).
MARKINGS:None.
