Nice circa 1920's Special Deputy Sheriff 'Stock' badge by C. D. Reese. This large badge is in remarkable condition, the front reads: "SPECIAL DEPUTY SHERIFF" in blackened detail. The reverse displays a nice maker's mark that reads: "C.D. REESE 57 WARREN ST. NEW YORK".
VINTAGE:Circa 1920's.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" x 2-1/4".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass and black paint.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin, torque-type 'C' catch.
