ARTIFACT: This is a Nice Early 30's San Benito Co., CA Deputy Sheriff 6-pt. Star Badge by P & M.K. Co. This prohibition era badge has a great, early look and was no doubt made from a die pre-dating the Patrick & Moise Klinkner Co. merger of 1930. The badge reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF SAN BENITO CO" in black detailed stamped lettering and the reverse shows a period of the pin, Great look!

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 2-1/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with "C" type catch

MARKINGS:  "P. AND M.K. CO."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAFJM19 LFGEX09/30/19

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows moderate wear, much of the black painted and nickel plated details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
