This is a Nice Early 30's San Benito Co., CA Deputy Sheriff 6-pt. Star Badge by P & M.K. Co. This prohibition era badge has a great, early look and was no doubt made from a die pre-dating the Patrick & Moise Klinkner Co. merger of 1930. The badge reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF SAN BENITO CO" in black detailed stamped lettering and the reverse shows a period of the pin, Great look!

Nickel plated nickel, black paint

Vertical safety style pin with "C" type catch

 "P. AND M.K. CO."
