ARTIFACT: Nice circa 1970 United States Air Force Security Police Badge #R2690. The badge features a round center with insignia at the center surrounded by the words: "DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", a spread-winged eagle sits perched at the top and it reads: "SECURITY POLICE" just below its talons, the base of the badge is numbered "R2690"

VINTAGE: Circa 1970

SIZE: Approximately 2 ??" x 1 5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "GI" and maker mark (hard to see).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a military police collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEM15 LAAEX5/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear, much of the plating remains.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
