ARTIFACT: This is a nice bullion tapestry made in India. The tapestry is a beautiful peacock blue with silver bullion embroidery showing the Taj Mahal superimposed upon a map of India with several cities labeled.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 16-1/2" height and 17-1/2" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk embroidered in silver bullion threads and pink cotton/silk threads, with silver tinsel fringe and muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
