Nice Ca. 1900 New York City Newsboy Badge Issued by the Deptartment of Education

Nice circa 1900 New York City Newsboy badge issued by the Department of Education. The oval badge features a celluloid center insert where a paper nametag once was and surrounding it reads: "NEWSBOY REGISTERED BY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION THE CITY OF NEW YORK" in stamped lettering with black painted details.
