Description
Nice 1930's ??? 1940's Springfield, Illinois fire department badge by Meyers & Wenthe for a Fireman on Engine No. The round chrome plated badge reads: "SPRINGFIELD ENG FIREMAN 5 FIRE DEPT." and the outer edge is a simply detailed fire hose and the badge is topped with a fireman's helmet.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor wear, the reverse shows some light ink markings (easy to clean and does not detract), nearly all the chrome plated details remain fully intact.
