Named Early 1950s USAF 444th Bomb Squadron Captain's Hat with Patch and Insignia

This is a named United States Air Force 444th Bomb Squadron captain's hat with a patch and insignia. The patch is a missile bearing the number 444 and the insignia is two bars. The hat belonged to Captain R.J. Boslet, who wrote his name on the inside.

Circa early 1950s.

Size Large: 7 1/4 - 7 3/8 - 7 1/2.

Cotton, nickel-plated brass, printed silk.
