ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s Comal County Texas chief Deputy Sheriff Badge by Simmong San Antonio. Badge is plated in that early "blue" tint chrome, helping to pin down its age. 

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height and in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chromed brass with blue and white enameling.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick type pin with Forked locking catch..

MARKINGS: SIMMANG

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine - Very Fine): Light to moderate wear. Would grade higher, but some of the brass is showing through the chrome plating on front.
