ARTIFACT: This is a Late 1940's German Made United State Army 11th Cavalry Regiment DI by Assman.

The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment ("Blackhorse Regiment) is a unit of the United States Army garrisoned at Fort Irwin, California. Although termed an armored cavalry regiment, it is being re-organized as a multi-component heavy brigade combat team.[citation needed] The regiment has served in the Philippine-American War, World War II.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" x 3/4

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass and Enamel

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with under-come locking catch.

MARKINGS: Assman Co Mark on back of the DI

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United state Army DI collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.  MAP18 LCGX05/30/19

CONDITION:  7+ (Very Fine): The DI shows Period of wear, nearly all the enamel details remain intact, Conversion from clutch back to pinback, overall very fine condition.
