ARTIFACT: This is a theatre-made United States Army 976th Field Artillery Battalion distinctive insignia. The insignia is a crest with a fleur-de-lis and a crown at top.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 1-1/4" height and 13/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper-plated brass with orange-red paint.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: N/A

ITEM NOTES: This item has been rated a level III rarity by ASMIC (the American Society of Military Insignia Collectors). This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX01 LAGEX02/19
