ARTIFACT: This is a Beautiful  & Rare, Circaa 1900 Texas & Pacific Railway Enameled Sterling Ladies Hat Pin.

The Texas and Pacific Railway Company was created by federal charter in 1871 with the purpose of building a southern transcontinental railroad between Marshall, Texas, and San Diego, California. 
Company Logo mark and hat pin is exactly same disign.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" x 13/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, sterling silver

ATTACHMENT: Hat pin

MARKINGS: STERLING

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Railroad and Railway collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX18 LABEX06/12/19

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The hat pin shows very little wear and some light abrasions, tarnish on reverse, overall excellent condition.
